Our Case Studies
At InspireHer Global, every girl’s journey matters. Our case studies highlight the voices of young women who have been part of our community sharing how InspireHer has shaped their confidence, skills, and opportunities. From workshops and mentorship to life-changing events like the Dare2Dream Summit, these stories showcase the real impact of empowerment in action. We believe that by telling their experiences, we not only celebrate their achievements but also inspire other young women to dream bigger and believe in what’s possible.

Growing up as an introvert was hard because I never felt a sense of belonging in any group setting. Even though I tried hard to fit in, a part of me always felt out of place, and because of this, I isolated myself from everything and everyone. You might wonder why I’m sharing this, but I believe understanding the challenges of my journey helps highlight the positive impact InspireHer has had on my life. I decided I didn’t want to live like that anymore, so I started trying new things one of which was applying to join the InspireHer community.
InspireHer has transformed my life, teaching me the true value of community and helping me realize that I wasn’t simply an introvert, but rather a young woman living with anxiety. Through InspireHer, I’ve learned valuable lessons, especially about mental health. Our mental health calls with Ms. Chipapa have been incredibly powerful during those sessions, I was able to release a lot of emotional baggage, and each time I left feeling lighter, as though a huge weight had been lifted from my shoulders.
I’ve also come to deeply appreciate the multifaceted beauty of women not just physical, but also spiritual, emotional, and mental. Each woman has her own story, and regardless of what that story may be, they continue to show up for themselves every day. That, to me, is incredibly beautiful about the women in InspireHer. I’ve learned to be more confident, proud, and bold in sharing parts of myself with others whether it’s my personality, thoughts, dreams, or aspirations.
At the Paint & Sip event hosted by PaintWithBlu, everyone was asked to give meaning to their paintings. I painted a woman with an Afro and a crown the Afro representing Black women (as I am a Black woman myself) and the crown symbolising the queens we are.
The meet-and-greet with Nothando Mpala, the founder of InspireHer, was also such a special experience. I find it inspiring to hear women share their journeys to success, and it’s remarkable to think that she started this community with just 4–6 people, which has now grown to over 50. That, to me, is the essence of InspireHer—its very name says it all: to inspire her.

Inspire Her has been such a great experience! I remember going to Venturecon last minute with my sister back in 2022, after learning about it online, and we had a segment about LinkedIn and how to build a personal brand. That is where I met our founder, Nothando Mpala, and we all signed a list thinking this was only going to be about LinkedIn.
Little did I know, Inspire Her would be a game-changer from growing and learning about branding myself, to having mental health check-ins that have helped me understand my emotions and how to handle them better, to attending interactive events that have helped me engage with young women in my age group, creating long-lasting bonds, networks, and relationships.
I can safely say Inspire Her has helped bring me out of my comfort zone by providing a safe space for me to just be me to grow, learn, unlearn, and try out new things. An example would be being given the opportunity to be part of the events team, which was way out of my comfort zone at first, but I was given the chance to try it out. It has been a great challenge and a nudge in the right direction. It’s definitely a platform I would fully recommend to young women and girls this community, doing life with other young people with similar zeal and goals, has been life-changing!!

I am a medical student. Beyond my studies, I am passionate about growth, creativity, and connecting with people who inspire me to become a better version of myself. I am truly grateful to be part of such an amazing women-centered community. Being part of InspireHER has been such a meaningful experience for me. The spaces and events they create have pushed me to grow, connect, and also pause to appreciate the little things that bring joy. Two experiences that stand out for me are Creators Connect and the Paint & Sip event, both of which left a lasting impact in different but equally special ways.
Attending Creators Connect was an uplifting experience. I went in curious, but I left feeling genuinely changed. Walking into that space, I was struck by how intentional the atmosphere was. It was warm, welcoming, and filled with people who wanted to see each other grow.
The conversations were real, practical, and inspiring in a way that made me reflect on my own path. What stood out most were the powerful words shared during the event. Listening to leaders speak about vision, resilience, and growth left me motivated to push further in my own journey. Their messages reminded me that success is not only about hard work but also about staying grounded and intentional.
Creators Connect also gave me the chance to meet people I might never have crossed paths with otherwise. The networking felt natural, and I walked away with new insights and friendships that continue to inspire me.
The Paint & Sip event was a different kind of blessing. Taking place in the afternoon, it felt like a refreshing pause in the middle of a busy week. It reminded me that slowing down and making space for creativity is a form of self-care.
During the event, I painted Van Gogh’s Starry Night. Recreating the swirling sky and vibrant colors inspired me to embrace my own creativity fearlessly and reminded me that beauty can emerge even from chaos.
A key moment that stood out for me was when the guest speaker shared about believing in yourself and God, and how our thoughts shape our reality. That message resonated deeply with me, tying faith, creativity, and personal growth together.
The afternoon was lighthearted and fun, yet deeply grounding. I left feeling lighter, spiritually uplifted, and more connected to both myself and the women around me.

Luse Ndhlovu
I’m 21 years old, currently studying Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Zambia in my 3rd year (as of 2025). I joined InspireHer Global in 2024, and it has changed my life in so many ways.
InspireHer Global has brought confidence to my personality and self. It has engaged me in a community of like-minded people who strive for self-love, mental health, self-development, respect, kindness, the list goes on. Through my engagements with our founder, I’ve learned that it’s okay to have differences with people, but you must always be respectful about it.
I used to have a tendency of people-pleasing, but through our sessions, I’ve developed ways to stand my ground in the right way, and to understand that it’s okay not to always do what others want. As an InspireHer member, I’ve had the privilege of attending several activities, and in every single one, I walked away with something valuable. One lesson was about being polite while also learning how to truly connect with people. Social settings are so important because they help you grow and can open doors to the next level in your life, you’ll never know who you can help or who can help you unless you communicate.
In our most recent meeting, I learned about financial management. Finances can be tricky it’s either you spend the money or the money spends you. When the money spends you, you find yourself constantly using funds for the wrong things and never really deciding how to use it. But when you spend the money wisely, you’re in control. Whether it’s saving to invest in a business or investing in yourself, the bottom line is that you have the power to decide what your money can do for you.
I love InspireHer Global because it’s big on empowering women and very inclusive. We’ve had opportunities to listen to other excelling women besides our founder, which has given us even more exposure to new ways of thinking and seeing different aspects of life. With God on our side, InspireHer Global is here to make an impact: to change the lives of women in Zambia, to heal broken hearts and minds, and to bring hope to those who had given up. I thank God that I am blessed by this movement and so can you!

Being part of InspireHER has truly been a life-changing experience for me. Before joining, I often kept to myself and struggled to express how I really felt. Through the programmes and safe spaces created by InspireHER, I have learned to come out of my shell, share my thoughts, and speak openly about the challenges I face. This has helped me build more confidence in myself and in how I relate with others.
One of the biggest lessons I have gained is learning how to manage my emotions and not let difficult situations define me. InspireHER has taught me that self-control and emotional strength are key steps in becoming the best version of myself. I now believe more strongly than ever that I can grow into the woman I have always dreamed of becoming.
Beyond personal growth, InspireHER has also shaped me educationally. The mentorship and discussions I have been part of have shown me the value of continuous learning and goal-setting. I have developed better study habits, learned how to balance academics with personal development, and discovered how education can be a powerful tool for empowerment. InspireHER has inspired me to take my studies more seriously and to use the knowledge I gain not only for myself but also to uplift other young women around me.
What stands out most about InspireHER is the sense of community. It is a safe space where young women encourage one another, share experiences, and grow together. Knowing that I am surrounded by supportive mentors and peers has motivated me to aim higher and dream bigger. I now have a clearer vision of my goals and the steps I need to take to achieve them, whether in my career, education, or personal life.
InspireHER is more than just a programme to me, it is a sisterhood that reminds me every day that I am capable of achieving greatness. I am grateful to be part of this movement that is shaping me into a stronger, more confident, and more focused young woman.

I am a second-year student at the University of Zambia, and I’m very proud to be part of InspireHer and a member of the events team.
InspireHer has been a huge part of my life since I joined in February 2024. It has taught me to dream without fear and to act with courage. It has given me opportunities to grow, platforms to share, and lessons that go far beyond books or classrooms. Most importantly, it has shown me the true power of unity.
Through InspireHer, I have experienced genuine sisterhood, learned the meaning of friendship and support, and discovered that I can give back to the community even as I continue to learn from it. InspireHer has also given me the courage to be vulnerable. The therapy segments provided emotional support at a time when I needed it most. In those moments, I was given the space to open up, heal, and grow stronger. Those sessions lifted a weight off my shoulders and left a lasting positive mark on my life.
Being part of InspireHer has been one of the most transformative experiences of my life. When I first joined, I didn’t realize how much I needed a space where young women could come together to support, uplift, and inspire one another. InspireHer has given me more than just a community it has given me confidence, courage, and a renewed sense of purpose.
It has shaped me into someone who is brave enough to dream, bold enough to take action, and compassionate enough to lift others along the way. InspireHer has truly helped me aspire to be the best version of myself.
